Tourism Australia sells Australia with music

Tourism body sells Australia with song. THE second stage of Tourism Australia’s ambitious $180 million international advertising campaign will be anchored in song, the first time the nation has been marketed internationally with anything more than a simple jingle.

The tourism body will unveil the ad, shot by acclaimed director Michael Gracie, to more than 3000 national and international stakeholders in Adelaide on Monday, when it will also go online.

The ad, which will play online, on TV and in cinemas, stars actors and ordinary people singing a new song based on the ad campaign, “There’s nothing like Australia”. The song was written by cinema, TV and pop music composer Josh Abrahams and ad agency DDB.
